Amanda served in the United States Air Force for 4 years and was honorably discharged in 1980. She graduated with a business and psychology degree from the University of Maryland. She is happily married to Pete and they have two beautiful children, Sarah and Connor. She has been a full-time Realtor for 20 years. Amanda and her family are members of North Star Church. In her spare time Amanda enjoys tennis, horse back riding, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Pete completed a 25 year career as an executive with a national multi-million dollar national electronic retailer. He was a vice-president for over 13 years in charge of as many as 54 retail locations with over 700,000,000 in anuual sales. Prior to his retail career, he served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1979. Pete joined his wife Amanda as a partner in her growing real estate practice in 2001. Pete goes above and beyond with customer service, but also gives of himself by giving back to the community. Pete has been recognized by Keller Williams International as a Heart-to-Heart specialist with his relentless determination to help those in need who were affected by hurricane Katrina and won Keeper of the Culture for giving of himself to help those in need. Currently Pete handles new home development projects and investor sales. Additionally he oversees all marketing and buyer's agent responsibilities.

Cathy joined the Amanda Douglas Team in 2001. Cathy is a Georgia native, born and raised in Rockmart Georgia. She attended Jacksonville State University, Alabama and Georgia Highlands College. She attends North Metro Church in Marietta. She has 3 children, Quinn, Matt, and Mary Catherine. In her spare time she enjoys staging homes for resale, interior decorating, tennis, cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs and spending time with her family and dogs. She is Co-Vice President at Harrison High School. Cathy brings enthusiasm and energy to Amanda Douglas & Associates. Customer service is her top priority!

Melissa joined the team in 2004. Her background is a little unique in that she has been influenced by different cultures. She has strong influences with the Latino community as her father is Columbian and her mother is Ecuadorian. She grew up speaking both Spanish and English. She attended Berry College where she recieved a Bachelors in Science Degree. She then took a position with Bank of America where she trained and supervised the Bilingual department for three years. Melissa enjoys tennis, roller blading, reading, watching movies, previewing homes on the market and most importantly, spending time with the people she loves. Melissa brings professionalism and her work ethic above reproach. She is an absolute delight to work with. Her goal is simple, to make the purchase of your new home a pleasurable experience. Prior to joining Amanda Douglas & Associates, Katie was a Marketing/ Business Manager for a recruiting company. She specialized in target marketing of Fortune 500 and high growth companies along with large military installtions. Katie has her Bachelor's of Business Administration in Marketing from Georgia State University. She is married to Damon, they have 2 children Anderson and Ashlyn. Katie and her family are members at McEachern United Methodist Church. Katie is a triathlete and cyclist and has lived in Atlanta for 15 years and Cobb county for 12 years. Katie is a licensed agent and experienced in real estate marketing, advertising, graphics, web advertising and target marketing. Katie is a delight to work with.

Michelle joined our team in May of 2007 as an Administrative Assistant. She attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where she received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Finance. Michelle also met her husband Tony at Liberty University. They have been married 13 years and have a son, Carson, who is 7 and a daughter, Natalie, who is 4. The Letts’ family are active members of Northstar Church. For the last 8 years, Michelle has been a stay at home mom. She became a licensed real estate agent in October of 2006 and has come on board our team excited to begin a new career. Michelle is outstanding in customer service and makes it her goal to support her team members and to assist our clients in whatever way she can. It is a priority to her that all our clients feel valued and supported during their home selling or buying process!

The newest addition to our team is Lisa Prater. Lisa has been with Keller Williams for about 2 years and just joined our team in September 2007. Lisa was born in the Atlanta area and has lived here her entire life. She is married and has 2 children. Lisa and her family are members of Lost Mountain Baptist Church. Lisa is our Closing Coordinator and handles all files from the time they go under contract until they close. She also helps with listings and other administrative duties. Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, baseball with her son, shopping with her daughter and long days at the beach.
